Phindy's Friday Challenge

TGIF! Time for another Phindy's Friday Challenge! The challenge this week at Phindy's Place is make a project based on a favorite song or movie. Pretty easy and versatile challenge, hope you will join us.

For my song choice I went with Elvis! My dad has always been a fan, and I think it has rubbed off on me. Elvis' Can't Help Falling in Love, is what I based my card on. Perfect for an anniversary card I think. Here are the lyrics if you aren't familiar with them:

Wise men say only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay
Would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you

Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you

Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you

I went with Together for my image this week. I'm always so fond of images that show the backs of people, just love them and this one is no exception. Such a sweet and tender image.  Phindy has lots of great images in the shop that would work out perfectly with this challenge.

Hope you will pop on over to the challenge blog and see what the DT has created this week. Play along with the challenge to win some prizes. It's not necessary to use a Phindy image, but if you do you get entered twice, so that is some pretty good incentive!

My sketch comes from The Pink Elephant Challenge 154.

Designed2Delight Monthly Blog Hop

Welcome to our monthly blog hop for Designed2Delight. Faith has created some beautiful new images this month, once again. And our newly expanded DT will be showing off lots of fabulous creations! I have the whole list of participants at the bottom of this post. As well as the link to a contest to win some images and the link for the sale prices of the new images!

For my first card I used Loving Hearts Bouquet. I colored with copics and paired it up with some fun October Afternoon prints. Some stitching and pearls finish it off.

I've used the sketch from Fetch a Sketch challenge 26 for this layout.

My second card uses Gathering Hearts and Loving Sentiments. She was so much fun to color and I couldn't help going a bit nuts with the stickles, perfect for a little girl. She, too, is colored with copics and I used some scraps of patterns (Echo Park and Lilly Bee) and a PTI border die and a few rhinestones.

This card uses the layout from Feeling Sketchy week 12. I did add a little die cut border along the rows, but it's pretty close to the sketch, this is such a fun and versatile sketch!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you are having a wonderful week!

Thanks so much for blog hoppin' with D2D! Remember, you can enter our Blog Hop Challenge for a chance to win some FREE Digis! Also, all New Release Digital Stamps will be on Sale until June 23. Details HERE.
