Whimsy and Stars New Years greeting

Where did 2012 go? Oh my gosh, it flew by for me. Looking forward to 2013. Wishing all my friends and cyber pals a happy and healthy new year.

And Bugaboo is the sponsor. They very graciously allowed us to pick an image. I selected this super cute  image and sentiment combo JJ Shopping-Safe to go to the Mall, isn't she a hoot? Perfect sentiment to go with a gift card present. I glazed her glasses and boots for some shine.

Make sure and pop over to the Sentimental Sundays blog and check out all the fabulous creations from the DT.

For my sketch I've used the Stella Says Sketch # 125. Another fun sketch from Bugaboo this week.

Here is a peek at the inside, so you can see the gift card holder pocket.

Whimsy and Stars Christmas Hop

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  To get ready for the season, we are having a blog hop to show off all the Christmas and winter themed images available from Whimsy and Stars Studio and to introduce the new Winter 2013 design team!

If you just arrived from Debra's blog, you are on the right track!  If not, please start at the beginning of the hop at the Whimsy and Stars Studio blog to make sure you don't miss out on anything. Hop along and leave a comment for each member of  design team.  The hop will end on Friday, December 7th at midnight EST.  One random winner, to be announced on the Whimsy and Stars Studio blog on December 8th, will be picked from all the comments received to win the Grand Prize of THREE Digi Stamps.

For my project I used the super sweet Ornament Girl image. SO much fun to color and glitter this one up, I love all the fur trim on the little outfit, I have it covered with Glamour Dust for super sparkle. I used some glossy accents on the ornament, to make it look shiny and glass like.

For the duration of the hop,  Mabelle is offering a special gift with purchase. With any order from the Whimsy and Stars Studio Etsy store, you can select one of two special images, Stocking Ted or Xmas Tag.

Thank you for hopping with us today!  Your next stop on the hop is the talented Lesa's blog.

Don't forget to leave a comment at each stop on the hop to increase your chance of winning the Grand Prize!

Here is the entire blog hop list in case you get lost along the way:

Happy Wednesday! Welcome to a new Flutterby Wednesday's challenge. This week we have an open challenge (with a butterfly or fairy of course). I hope you will take some time and play along with us. Just include a fairy or butterfly on your creation to play along. Stop over to the blog and check out the gorgeous samples the DT has created.

We have a fun sponsor this week, too. Di's Digi Downloads is offering a $10 voucher to the winner. They have adorable images in the shop!

I was going to sit out this week, the holiday rush is already on here. But then I put aside my to do list and hit the craft room, lol! I used a lovely image from ADFD called Fairy Wish. I love all of Tammy's images. I paired her up with the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge #175 and it all came together pretty fast. I did make a square card rather than a rectangle, because I printed the image a bit large to fit on an A2 size card.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are having a wonderful week.

Emma Canning Monthly Challenge

Can't believe it's December first already! That means it's time for a new challenge over at the Flat Friends Challenge Blog, our third monthly challenge is up! The challenges will run monthly and the prize is four Flat Friends digi images to one random winner. You can find all the details on the challenge blog.

If you haven't seen these fun images from Emma Canning yet, check them out at Polka Doodles, they are just so cute and hip and fun to color. Lots of new ones were recently added, too! And this month, Emma is offering a freebie, so even if you don't have any Flat Friends images (yet), you can still play along with the freebie. It is super cute, too, perfect for holiday cards!

Our challenge is all white cards where only the image is colored, with a twist of "crimbo" theme. Now for those of you who don't know (like me), that means Christmas (I had to google it when I first joined Emma's team). Cool word right? My image is called Skate Away With Me. Here is a cute little graphic from Emma to inspire you.
