From the Heart Valentine Blog Hop

Welcome the the From the Heart Valentine hop. The designers have prepared some cute projects to show off Faith's digis and get you inspired for some Valentine crafting.

First up, I decorated a fry box (bought these from Pick Your Plum). I used the newest image released called Humble Anneke. She's so sweet and comes with some sentiments, too. I colored her wit copics and added some stickles for fun. She is cut with a nesties die and layered on another. Some Recollections ribbon, PTI twine and a tiny tag finished it off. I filled it with some Dove chocolates. I think this will go to one of the kids' teachers for Valentine's Day.

For this little project, I made a lollipop cover using image Birdie's Valentine. Just colored the little bird and layered on some nestie die cuts. Finished with a button and twine. The lollipop holder is a die cut from MFT. This was fun and simple to make. I think I will make some more of these for the kids for Valentine's Day.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you enjoyed the hop and found some inspiration to create some sweet Valentine projects!

Sentimental Sundays

Here is my weekly post for Sentimental Sundays. This week our challenge theme is thanks or thank you. Don't forget to add your sentiment!

My older two both had birthday parties recently and they need to get their TY cards out. I was going to just buy some (cause you know 7 and 9 year old boys will read them and toss them). But I felt guilty with all the paper I hoard, I mean have. So I came up with a quick and easy layout that could be replicated easily and mass produced. It also used up some scraps which was a bonus! I made 18 of these in under 2 hours, so not bad. And the boys liked them.

And Sweet and Sassy stamps is the sponsor.  Hope you will play along for a chance to win a prize from them.

Make sure and pop over to the Sentimental Sundays blog and check out all the fabulous creations from the DT.

Card Recipe:

Whimsy and Stars

I don't know about you, but I am in constant need of late birthday cards. Not a good sign for someone who makes cards right? Usually I just don't get them mailed off in time. When I saw the freebie sentiment from TLC a while back, I knew it would pair up perfectly with Mabelle's Whimsy and Stars birthday turtle image. Finally had a chance to put the two together.

My sketch comes from Seize the Birthday challenge #2, it's a really versatile one, will definitely come back to this one again.
